D3 Publisher announced Onechanbara Origins for PS4, and I couldn’t be happier. Onechanbara Origin is actually the first two entries in the series together in one package. So for those who haven’t gotten the chance to play the first two can now do it in HD. The art style for the game this time around is a little different, but it’s reminiscent of the series’s PS2 days. The game will release in Japan sometime in 2019, but no Worldwide release has been announced just yet. I do however have some pictures that you can check out below:
Yup. Onechabara Z2: Chaos is being localized thanks to the wonderful people at Xseed. If you pre-order the game you will also get the bonus Strawberries & Banana costumes in game as well. Thank you Xseed lol. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos will be out at the end of June on the 30th this year for PS4.
Here’s to hoping that this one gets localized this time. If not, then it’s import time again lol. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos will be released in Japan on October 30th.
Now this is quite interesting. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is pretty much an updated version of Onechanbara Z: Kagura for the PS4. No trailers have come out for the game yet, but they did mention some of the new features in the game. The game will run a 60FPS in full HD, Aya and Saki will now be playable along with Kagura and Saaya and all can be switched out during battle, new Quick Time Skills against bosses that will use the tochpad, and Cross Merge Combination that will allow characters to attack simultaneously. Hopefully there will be a trailer soon, but for now the game is scheduled to be released this October on the PS4.
Onechanbara Z: Kagura just released in Japan last week and I have a new story gameplay trailer for you. Everything in Onechanbara Z looks amazingly better than the first one all the way from combat to graphics. I really hope this gets localized soon so I can start my zombie slaying too.
So it’s pretty likely that Onechanbara Z will get localized overseas. It hasn’t officially been confirmed yet, but D3 Publisher went through the trouble of dubbing a trailer with an English explanation of the story and how the game mechanics work. This pretty much makes it a sure fire thing that we will be seeing Kagura and Saki in the U.S. Damn, looks like I’ll be getting a 360 come this Black Friday. Not that I’m complaining or anything now knowing that Onechanbara will be swinging this way after all. ^_^
