I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, and I’ll resume posts soon.
You may not have realized it, but if you’re a fan of video games and anime, then you are also somewhat into electronics too. You need good electronics to view the things you like to enjoy am I right? So here are a few good Black Friday deals for you:
So it’s pretty likely that Onechanbara Z will get localized overseas. It hasn’t officially been confirmed yet, but D3 Publisher went through the trouble of dubbing a trailer with an English explanation of the story and how the game mechanics work. This pretty much makes it a sure fire thing that we will be seeing Kagura and Saki in the U.S. Damn, looks like I’ll be getting a 360 come this Black Friday. Not that I’m complaining or anything now knowing that Onechanbara will be swinging this way after all. ^_^
There are a lot of good anime out this season, and I would like to share with you some of my favorites. They are in no real particular order except for the first one cause its my favorite this season lol.
Ms. Fortune is akin to Felicia from Darkstalkers, but with the whole indestructible body thing. She’s a catgirl from Skullgirls, a game coming out on the Playstation Network and the Xbox Live Arcade in early 2012. I’ve been waiting for Skullgirls to come out for a while now, and after seeing this I couldn’t be more excited! 2012 can’t come soon enough! =^_^=
For all those who plan on buying Final Fantasy XIII-2, I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to reserve mine at Best Buy. Amazon, Gamestop, and Best Buy are all selling the game, but they each have different pre-order bonuses for the three retailers:
Amazon: Omega boss battle (DLC)
Gamestop: Alternate costume for Serah (DLC)
Best Buy: Final Fantasy XIII –episode 1- novella, tying the events of XIII and XIII-2 together. (Physical Item)
In my opinion, a physical object is always better as a bonus when pre-ordering games. The 2 DLC items will later be available on the PSN and 360 Marketplace anyway soon enough, but the physical item will not always be available so it makes it the most unique.
While I will be getting my copy from Best Buy, you should get the bonus item which you like best too no matter what store its from because the game is still the same either way lol.
Gamestop takes the cake with Asura’s Wrath by offering the best incentive as a bonus pre-order item. I believe that a physical bonus item is always better than a digital one because they will be available later, so Gamestop seems to be where I will be getting mine. If you are wondering what the other retailers are offering, they are as follows:
Amazon: Devastator Pack (Reduces damage taken, and fills the Unlimited Rage meter faster) (DLC)
Best Buy: Infinity Pack (Recover quickly from overheathing, and stay in Unlimited Rage mode longer) (DLC)
Gamestop: An Asura’s Wrath comic drawn by the Penny-Arcade team which also doubles as an art book and contains concept art for the game from CyberConnect 2 on the reverse side.
